Life is great.
I'm on my own.
Friends are amazing.
Music is thrilling.
My heart is full of music and friendly love, yet ready to tear when it comes to decision making.
I'm living it up.
I do miss home.
I do miss my family.
I do miss Kevin.
But I will miss this new family of mine here when its time for me to leave.
I never know if what I do is right or if its okay.
I just want to cry out in desparation.
I just need to be loved.

But I thank the Lord for the numerous ways that I have been blessed and cant wait to see what is yet to come...Hopefully some leading will be in that plan because I know that is on the top of my list right now.

Well, another week has passed and life here at Governor's School just keeps on getting better and better! Here is my daily schedule:
7-8   Breakfast
8-10  Orchestra rehearsal (which i am 1st chair in)
10-11 Class (week 1: Conducting, week 2: World Music, week 3: Class Voice, week 4: The Listener's Act)
11-12  Flute Quartet A
12-1:30  Lunch
1:30-2:30  Flute Quartet B
2:30- 3:30 Flute Masterclass
3:30- 5 Orchestra
5-6 Dinner
7:30 an evening concert from other professional artists
Any random time i have during the day i have to practice at least 40 minutes.
10:30 bed check (no lights out time though)

So, Im usually always doing something, never really have a lot of down time. Except for Sundays which are our free days. But let me tell you, I have the best friends ever. Jessica, Gwen, Jillian, Christen, and Crystal.4 flutes and an oboe. We have the best times together....booty dancing late at night, "practicing", meals, Inspirational Shower Time, rehearsals....the list goes on and on.

But, I really do miss home. The first week seem to go by so slow, and we all just wanted it to speed up. Now, that we are in the second week , things are going by too fast. Im not going to want to leave....*still 4 weeks left though!*

Well, Ive written enough and ive got to go. I love and miss you all!

So far, Governor's School is amazing. I couldn't have imagined that it would be this great. The friends, the music, the not-as-good-as-I-thought-they-would-be dorms, the okay cafeteria food, and the awesome bathrooms. lol But I miss home, but I feel like I've already become an even better flutist! I've got to go eat lunch now.
